The Zloam Wirt
The culinary compass of Ausseerland, from 8 October 2021
The Zloam landlord, Jakob Zand, cordially welcomes you to the world of typical Ausseer cuisine. Along with traditional, delicious meals made using regional ingredients, one thing definitely ought to feature on the menu: tender char, which comes from the water via the wooden ‘Plätte’ boats, direct to your dinner plate. An evening is made perfect by a cosy get-together in nice company. And maybe a guest might even get out an instrument – after all, in Ausseerland music is also part and parcel of the local delights, that provide magic at the table in between times.
Our team of chefs prepare meals for you from 12:00 to 14:00 and from 18:00 to 21:00. A small menu is available in the morning.

More about Zloam Wirt
The Zloam Wirt
The "Zloam Wirt" has 70 indoor seats on 2 floors and 80 terrace seats.
The cosy and traditional guest room is located on the ground floor. The stairs lead to our gallery and the veranda, which invites you to enjoy a cosy afternoon tea or a glass of wine or two. Also on the 1st floor is the so-called "Trüfüstubn", a room for up to 20 people, which is perfect for small celebrations, Christmas parties and meetings.
Incidentally: Trüfin is an Ausseer word and means something like ‘well-tended traditional costume’, or ‘an exchange among friends’.
